Congratulations to everyone involved in the opening of Grace’s Place, a world first trauma recovery centre for children affected by homicide.
Officially opened earlier this month, the Doonside centre offers:
A unique place of healing and restoration for children and young people affected by homicide. The best way to get through difficult times is when everyone is involved. We provide tailored support for children and young people as well as providing the tools for their community and support network to work through this difficult time together. Grace’s Place will be that Beacon of Hope where children and young people will learn to believe in themselves again.
Grace’s Place is an initiative of the Homicide Victim’s Support Group, NSW, and is already making a difference in the lives of children and young people impacted by the murder of someone they love. Find out more here:
